Ticket
Everyone traveling with Båtbussarna must be able to present a valid ticket for as long as they are on the bus. You must check yourself that the information on the ticket corresponds to the intended journey. If you cannot present a valid ticket during an inspection, an inspection fee of SEK 500 will be charged. The same applies if you are traveling at a discounted price but cannot prove your right to the discount. Båtbussarna reserves the right to check the validity of the ticket.
Validity
The ticket is valid for 1 day from the time of purchase. It is non-personal and can be used in either direction on the chosen route, with the exception of the route between the Cityterminalen and Nynäshamn. Round-trip tickets are valid for one person.
Old tickets without an expiration date are not valid as transport documents and cannot be exchanged for new tickets.
Ticket Validation
Present your printed ticket when boarding. You can also show your ticket on your mobile phone or tablet.
Travel Time Guarantee
If the bus is delayed by more than 20 minutes, or if there is reasonable cause to assume a delay of more than 20 minutes compared to the times specified in the timetable, you are entitled to compensation for alternative transport. A prerequisite for the right to compensation is that it was reasonable to choose the transport or transports used. If you have not had time to buy a bus ticket, you will be compensated for reasonable costs for alternative transport minus a deduction for the cost corresponding to a single adult ticket.
If you do not request compensation for alternative transport in the event of a delay, you are entitled to a price reduction of:
50% of the ticket price, if the delay is more than 20 minutes
75% of the ticket price, if the delay is more than 40 minutes
100% of the ticket price, if the delay is more than 60 minutes
